Well, Carey has inspired me to get back into this Xanga thing and actually give you guys an update on the life of the Sunni. I'm still working at Mauney Memorial Library in Kings Mountain, and it's a pretty decent job. I hated it at first b/c I had trouble adjusting to all my job tasks and my coworkers, but now I really like it 95% of the time, which is pretty good for a job. However, I'm having a hard time deciding what to do, as the commute is so expensive and Pat and I can not get ahead and save any money with me buying so much gas. Also, my car, which was brand new when I got it last december, already has 17.500 miles on it, and my warranty only lasts to 36,000, which I'm  willing to bet I'll reach next year if i keep commuting. i've applied a few places closer to Charlotte, and have gone to 2 interviews, so maybe I'll be able to work closer to home.

In other news, the holidays are almost upon us. I will be 24 years old in a month, and we will be having everyone over the weekend before Thanksgiving for beer pong and conversation. I know that will get you all out to see me!!

That's all I've got for now!

Wow, it has been awhile since I've done any writing on here. Well, wedding plans are coming right along. I have my 2nd dress fitting tomorrow, meeting with the Pastor on Friday, bridal portraits May 3rd, AND I'm getting back out engagement pictures on Friday as well! I'm trying to decide if I really want to do the carriage ride. I really think it would be fun, a great opportunity for some cool pictures, and it would really add to the whole "plantation" feel. I'm just so afraid that I'll be in my big dress making my grand entrance, and I'll lose my balance and fall trying to get out of the carriage. But anyway...I have time to decide if the risk is worth it. Pretty much all I have left to do is favors and a few extra invitations, decorations, and beauty appointments! I am SO ready for 7 days of fun and sun in the Bahamas. I need it! haha I am almost finished with my first class in the graduate certificate program for teaching at UNCC. I just have a paper to do, and it's over. I don't know if I'm going to continue to take classes right now or not. It has been a pretty big strain on me with working full time and the wedding. In other news, Pat and I are going to move into a bigger apartment on May 17! It's a 2 bed 2 bath, so we'll have lots of extra space. The kitties will love it as well, they will have new things to sniff and lay on! Anyway, that is what's going on with me!

Well, I guess it's about time for an update.

I turned 23 last month, and people came out to celebrate with me. That was nice.

I paid my first big wedding payment on Dec.9th, and mom went with me to the plantation. However, the next day I took my car to the shop and found out it needed a new water pump, and was going to cost $900 to fix. Wonderful.

So, my parents and I decided I should trade my car in. I bought a new one!! It's a 2007 Mazda 6. It's really nice, I love it! ...If only I didn't have to make payments! haha

I'm starting back to school next month to get my Teaching License. My classes are online, so that's good.

Pat is coming to my house for Christmas this year. I'm excited about being able to see him over the holidays.

I'll actually be in town for New Years! Yay!

Hope everyone's doing great!

8 months till the wedding!!

My kitten, Leo has been sick this past month, but I'm happy to report that he is now feeling better. He had an upper respiratory infection and a torn ligament in one of his back legs. My other kitten, Ian, went to the vet Monday to be neutered, and he returned home yesterday. He's doing good.

Wedding plans are going well, I have ordered Save-the-Dates, and my wedding shoes and veil are in for pickup! Now I just have to worry about the venue payment due in December.

I am really not liking my job lately. It seems that I have become the unspoken library maid. I wonder why I bothered to go to school if this is all I get to do.

My bridesmaids and I are going dress shopping on the 20th. Yay, i can't wait to pick something out! And maybe I'll get to put on my dress again, too.
